News!

Well, Christmas is behind us, and we are moving forward into the next year of "Ebenezering"!

Lots of news and things happening.  Our illustrious Harmonica player, Geoff Ice, has managed to get himself overcommitted with being an Elder at his church and traveling to Amsterdam with his job, so, to simplify his life for the time being, he has excused himself from "Ebenezering".  We understand, but we realize that, being the youngster in the band, he really has years to go before he can "retire", but for now, we are sadly excusing him from his "duties".

On another note, Rusty found another harp player on "Craigs list" who came and rehearsed with us last week.  I hope we passed the audition!  Anyway, I think he is gonna sit in with us on our upcoming gigs and see how it works.  Seemed to be an "Ebenezer" kind of guy.  His name is Henry Sinatra, that's right, Hank Sinatra for those of you paying attention.  What more could we ask for.  He hasn't made it to the "chairman of the board" status yet, but who knows, maybe he can still work his way up!

Anyway, we are playing a private party in Irving (that's right, Dallas County, can you believe it!) on January 5th, let's hope the weather cooperates.  We are at "Hank's on the Square" in Granbury on the 19th, and are looking to audition at a coffee house named "Seekers" in the mid cities hopefully around the end of the month.  This is a chain of coffee houses that is opening in the metroplex, so maybe we can get an in there and play closer to where some of you live.

Until we see you, Have a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
